Dr. Walter Salubro, Chiropractor in Vaughan and Author of Back to Health by Choice, Donates a Copy of His Book for the Maple Library Collection

Maple, ON — It was a day of celebration on Saturday December 5th at the Maple Community Centre, where Vaughan’s city counsel, headed Hon. Mayer Maurizio Bevilaqua, commemorated the 25th anniversary of the Maple Library and the community centre.

“I recall when my friends and I first heard about this community centre being built. It was many years ago and I was in high school at that time”, explains Dr. Salubro. “We were ecstatic. Over the years and until this present day, I have used the library very regularly. I have also used other facilities like the fitness centre, swimming pool, and squash courts.”

The Maple Community Centre is located on Keele St., just north of Major Mackenzie. It has been a staple of recreational activities for people of all ages over the last 25 years.

“I extremely proud and privileged to be able to donate a copy of my new book to the Maple Library collection. I value reading and continuous learning and the library in any community is an extremely valuable resource. My book is only a small contribution in comparison to what the entire library has to offer for the learner and for the community.”

At the celebration event, Mayor Bevilaqua also announced that a new library and resource centre is being constructed next the Vaughan City Hall. This will certainly be an exciting addition to the growing number of community resources in the City of Vaughan.
